Our last week!:)
There is going to be a big show about the BAAM1 and the sophomore stundents' works.
It will be fun to see how productive we were in this year.

We should come to school on Tuesday to watch the music videos from everybody.They were great and sometimes funny to!:)

Week11
We were making our third movie (Emese,Julcsi,Meerim and me) and started to think about some possibilities to make a good advertising. My first idea was that make some "beauty" shots about a dancer couple; and as the red skirt of the girl will move,that van be the effect of a glass of red wine. But then we changed this idea and started to make Meerim's idea about a young and old couple.

Unfortunatelly i couldn't come to the studio,because i had to go to my cousin's graduation ceremony in Tata.

We were talking about things,how to make professional video:
1. usually shot on film (look like a film)
2. filters (noise,grain, less colour saturation)
Lighting:
1. softened light: -nylons on the lens (not vaseline) - reflective light (control it)
2. shoot at lower video level (brightness & contrast)
3. dreamy: higher level (over expose)
4. model your lights (to the actor's face)
Editing tricks:
Slow down the footage by 5% - make un-noticeably movie (sounds)
Sets: Reduce
1. clutter (too much staff)
2. colours (bright colours)
Planning for editing: Think layers
Finally then the camera set up for the dark: Iris, Gain & then we checked out how the lamps works.

week 7
After the shooting we had to edit our shots..which took about more than 5 hours... But finally we loved it and showd up on time!:)
Week 6
We had an assignment to make a video for whatever we would like; so we decided to make a Beatles video with Anna and Oksana in a studio and in Keleti as well. I had a friend who could bring his and his friend's guitars for the shooting in the studio so we asked Bob, Fathir, Ralph and Marcel to help for us and make the video. But we had a problem that Fathir just travelled backo home on the shooting as Bob as well. So we had to find some others who became Adél's boyfriend and Oksana's friend!:) Then we could start the video which took about 3 hours!:) Soo it was really funny to sing together with the boys because we couldn't hear anything from the music (from the laptop) but it was nice. Then we moved to the Keleti which was also funny because wanted some pictures with the guys when they are standing on the stairs and crowd will come across them but they won't!! They were (I mean the audiance) just standing and make some pictures with phones about the "fake-Beatles" and wonder what's going on!:)

Week5
Gosh..It's almost the middle of the semester!Time is running fast..
So!On the class we discussed many things. It started with a rock'n'roll video with Aerosmith,Ozzy,Led Zeppelin etc. Then we're talking a little Pink Floyd and about the Black Moon(?) how they became famous etc.
The thing is:be creative,unique and be there at the right place!And speak more or less English..then u can be a star:like example Bob Marley!
Also we talked a little bit about MTV;is it an industry?Especially the stars;about their dress code,that they can determin fashion for example the emos;culture,lyrics,how the media is an industrialized,Frankfurt School...
We mentioned the focus on the technology and culture, habits,behaviours.. :)

Second group assignment.
So now i am together with Anna and Oksana and we decided to make a Beatles video with Ralph,Marcell,Fathir and Bob,but unfortunatelly only 2 of them can come to shooting.But i hope that we can make a good movie afterwards!:)

In this week we've been in VAM Design to learn more about organizing an exhibition like for example the Da Vinci!

First class of of Music Video Production
So in the first class we learnt about the basic things of music video production.
We watched a rock 'n' roll video for understand the differences about the shoots.
For example:
-David Bordwell: as i understood he created the "mobile framing"~the camera moves somewhere else (different perspective) but still looking the subject.
-Don Pennebaker: standing on the stage (Jimi Hendrix) ,holding his camera with microfon and some other technical things on his back.
Then we learnt a little bit about how we should make a music video about for example dance,beat,poetry etc.
Finally we got a tiny camera from Phil to "play" with it which was very cool but the "fish-eye" effect was a little bit strange for me!:)
